Adding / deleting the credit card of a client

A credit card on the reservation allows you to proceed payments if AmenitizPay is activated and to store the client's credit cards. This article explains you how to add a credit card manually on a reservation, and how to delete it.

 

Adding a credit card on your reservation allows you first to store the credit card on the reservation. If AmenitizPay is activated, it will verify the credit card when it is entered on the reservation, and you will be able to charge this card or create and capture an authorisation

If you add a credit card manually on a reservation and no payment has been made yet with this card via AmenitizPay, then the traveler will receive a 3D secure validation request to validate the payment if the client's bank requests the 3D secure verification.

If you don't need the credit card of your client anymore, you can deletee it from the reservation manually to stop storing it.

  1. To add a credit card, go into the reservation, in the customer section and "add a new credit card":

  2. If you don't need the credit card of your client anymore, you can delete it from the reservation manually to stop storing it and losing its access. To delete a credit card, go into the reservation, in the customer section and on the 3 dots "delete":
